Thank your dad for everything he’s done this year by visiting the Rémy Martin VSOP (Stand S5) where they’ll be serving a French Mojito – an opulent twist on the Cuban classic. Made with the world’s number one premium fine champagne cognac, the French Mojito’s intense taste lies in the elegant richness of the Rémy Martin VSOP, a blend of eaux-de-vie from the best quality grapes grown exclusively in Fine Champagne (Grande and Petite Champagne) patiently aged in oak barrels for a minimum of eight years. Added to a mojito in the place of rum, its aromatic intensity gives the Ernest Hemingway favourite a sophisticated edge, balancing the limes, mint and sugar with elegant vanilla, oak, rose and apricot notes, a velvety texture and a warm, lasting finish.
French Mojito
50ml Rémy Martin VSOP cognac
1 lime cut in wedges
2 spoons of brown sugar
8 mint leaves
Soda water
In a tall glass lightly muddle the lime with sugar and the mint. Add the cognac, crushed ice and stir with a long spoon. Top with soda water and garnish with a mint leaf.
